When you are starting out in MLM or when you are experienced but frustrated with the process of moving yourself forward in your Network Marketing career, the process of "MLM Mentoring" can be extremely critical to your success.

Let me explain... It is my firm opinion, and this is based upon observation from within the MLM industry since 1980, that you can reach your income goals in MLM 10 times, maybe even 20 or 30 times FASTER when you participate in the right MLM mentoring program.

MLM mentoring is a process where you seek out and find an experienced mentor within the Network Marketing community. This mentor should be successful, of high integrity and above all, willing to put in the time with you so that you can understand what to accomplish on a daily basis in order to reach your income goals in the most efficient and speedy fashion.

Let me clarify this important point for you:

This is an example from outside of the MLM world but I think it will help clarify my point. Let's think about a brand new surgeon (a medical doctor specializing is surgery). He's just signed on as a resident surgeon at the largest hospital in Boston and he's excited about his first surgery.

He just loves the hospital he recently got hired by -- after all, they are the largest and the oldest hospital in the nation (much prestige there, he loves his hospital!) and he in really in love with his high tech scalpel that he will use for surgery (he loves the hospital's products!). Its the best scalpel known to man. He's read about scalpels and he is sure this is the best there is.

So, he's ready for surgery and he goes into the operating room very proud and happy to be part of such a great organization. Did I mention that his hospital is the oldest hospital in the US?

Well, the patient is prepped and the surgeon has scrubbed and is ready to start the procedure.

It's time to start cutting!

The young surgeon instructs his nurse to hand him the best scalpel on the planet. Man, it is a nice one. After all, it's the "Occum 5000 series model".  It's gold plated, gleamimg and razor sharp. It fits his hand just right.

He loves this scalpel! Now he's almost ready to start cutting, when he realizes that he never took and courses dealing with surgery in medical school... he's really not sure how to proceed with this surgery at all! He is bewildered... confused!

This makes the surgeon stop in his tracks and think, "Wow, am I stupid for every thinking I could ever be a surgeon!

 ... but I certainly love this scalpel!

... and the hospital.. it's the oldest most prestigious in the country.

 Maybe the scalpel will know what to do? Can I trust the scalpel to tell me where to cut?"

...STOP! This is nuts! Right?

Can you imagine a surgeon ever getting anywhere near an operating room without being mentored first by an expert experienced surgeon that has done the surgery many times before?

"No way!" ... right?

So, as you can see. The brand new surgeon was in love with his company, and he was in love with his product.... but he didn't know the first thing about performing the day to day activities of a real professional surgeon.

This doesn't mean the new surgeon is a bad person.. he just needs someone to show him the right step-by-step methods! He needs a mentor!
